About Us

Garforth Jubilee Brass Band was established in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Garforth Jubilee Brass offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn to play a brass musical instrument. Instruments range from cornets, horns and euphoniums to trombones and the bass instruments and percussion.

The Band has a number of training groups. You can progress so that you can join the main band and participate in a variety of banding events both locally and county wide.

Garforth Jubilee Brass would welcome people who are players or those who have not played for some time. We welcome those with musical skills and experience who would like to pass on their abilities to others,

Garforth Jubilee Brass has a variety of brass instruments available for hire.

Rehearsals:

Beginner Classes Wednesdays 6.30 - 7.30
Main Band Wednesdays 7.30 - 9.00
Training band Wednesdays 7.15 - 8.00
